World Championship Steak Cook-Off
The 27th Annual World Championship Steak Cook-off Saturday, May 21, 2016
You are invited to cook in the 27th Annual World Championship Steak Cook-off in beautiful Magnolia, Arkansas! A total of $10,000 in prize money will be up for grabs, as we grill over 4,000 mouthwatering Ribeye steaks!
Each year there are over 4,000 steaks cooked on the square here in Magnolia, Arkansas. You cannot imagine the smell in the air when more than 80 grills of all shapes and sizes begin the cook-off. Be sure and get your tickets early as they will go fast. Steak tickets are available from the Magnolia Chamber office, Farmers Bank, BancorpSouth, Peoples Bank, Bank of the Ozarks, Carter Federal Credit Union, and Jennifer’s. As always, this year’s steaks will be 16oz. Ribeyes, provided to us by Certified Angus Beef Brand steaks. Certified Angus Beef brand is the only Angus Brand endorsed and monitored by the American Angus Association’s 28,000 cattle ranchers.
The winning team team will take home the Governor’s Cup, prize money and tremendous bragging rights.Trophies and prize money will also be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th runner ups. You are offered additional competition categories in parade, showmanship and pit construction. Please indicate on your entry form which categories your team would like to compete in. We suggest you and your team bring your A game as your competition is sure to be well prepared!
