Located deep in the beautiful pine forests of southern Arkansas, Magnolia is one of this state’s treasures. As you enjoy the fragrant blossoms on the Magnolia trees lining the courthouse square you realize you are somewhere special. Historic downtown has been revitalized and has many charming boutiques and locally owned restaurants to satisfy any appetite. Come and tour our landmark Magnolia Murals, which colorfully portray our historic downtown.
Magnolia is the home of Southern Arkansas University and our city benefits from all the amenities a university brings. In May of each year, we host the Magnolia Blossom Festival™ and World Championship Steak Cook-Off™. It is a weekend full of family fun and entertainment.
HUNTING, FISHING, BOATING, AND SKIING
Columbia County is very close to paradise for hunters and fishermen. The surrounding forests shelter deer, turkey, and quail with annual open seasons on each.
Located just seven miles west of town, Lake Columbia is a 3,000 acre reservoir that is an angler’s delight. The lake hosts 21 full-service campsites, a day picnic area, pavilion and three boat ramps. From trophy bass fishing to water sports, there is fun for the whole family. Make it your “day trip” or your “stay trip”.

WELCOME TO MAGNOLIA!
Magnolia is a town that I am blessed to have called home for most of my life. The Magnolia Blossom Festival is always a fun tradition my family had, from hunting for the treasure, figuring out what I was going to get at the food court, stopping in and seeing all of my favorite people at the various stores, searching for goodies in the craft section, and then topping it off with an incredible steak were the highlights of my year. As a child and teen, I spent much of my time getting all of my art ready for the annual art show, and even won a few times!
Having the opportunity to plan this festival is one of the biggest highlights of my life. To see families carry on this tradition that I hold so dear is such a rewarding feeling.
So, welcome to Magnolia, AR. We are so glad you are here!

LOGOLY STATE PARK
Logoly State Park is located 10 miles north of Magnolia on Columbia 47 at McNeil. It was Arkansas’s first environmental education state park. The majority of this beautifully forested 368 acre park has been designated a state natural area because of the many rare and unique plants found there.
The park offers visitors twenty picnic sites, two nature trails, a Visitor Information Center, which features an environmental exhibit room, a pavilion, and a tent camping facility with a bathhouse.
