APPETIZER CHALLENGE
Show your creativity with the 12th Annual Appetizer Challenge taking place during that World Championship Steak Cook-Off™.
This year's appetizer challenge will feature a specially selected ingredient that you must use and base your appetizer around.

Appetizer Challenge Rules

Competing teams must submit entry form and a $50.00 entry fee

Winner will receive $500.00, First Runner-up $200.00, Second Runner-up $100.00 and each place will receive a trophy.

Appetizer must be prepared and cooked by the Chief Cook or a team member.

Appetizer must be cooked on the grill.

Presentation plate, platter or bowl must be provided by the team.

You must deliver a minimum 4 maximum 6 of your appetizer for judging.

Appetizer will be judged on taste, presentation and originality (10 points each).

Appetizer should be plated and may be garnished for presentation (no team branding).

You must present your appetizer for judging between 2:00-3:30 at a location to be determined.

Winners will be announced on stage during the awards ceremony at 7:30 pm.
NOTE: We consider an appetizer as a small portion of food, not an entrée — portion size will be considered in judging. No drinks of any kind will be accepted.
